החל משנת 2023, נכנסו לתוקף מספר כללים חדשים לגבי נסיעה לחו"ל מישראל. הכללים החדשים נועדו לשפר את בטיחות הנוסעים ולהקל על התהליך של נסיעה לחו"ל. בין השינויים העיקריים נכללים ביטול החובה להציג בדיקת קורונה שלילית לפני הטיסה, והאפשרות להגיש את הבקשה לדרכון באופן מקוון.
